This charming 1950's 2BR/1BA Home is nestled on a gorgeous 1/2 acre lot among beautiful Oak trees and tropical landscape with Springstead Creek (a tributary of Hogtown Creek) in the backyard. Florida room and large outdoor patio give this home ample room to entertain a crowd. There's also a brick patio down by the creek that could be renovated. Plenty of space & storage with endless possibilities. Detached shed, storage area and a small workshop behind the carport makes this property perfect for an artist, woodworker or hobbyist to enjoy. With a little clean up and minor renovation, this property would be an amazing classic Florida home. Only 3 miles to UF.

This was the longtime home of Dorothy Ann 'Dot' Shields, retired associate professor emeritus from the University of Florida, College of Health and Human Performance. She taught at the University of Florida for 37 years during which she initiated and developed The Aquatic Minor program, planned and introduced several professional teaching courses in the aquatic field. She also coached the synchronized swimming club for 13 years, and was Aquatic Director for the Division of Recreational Sports.

The home is filled with Antiques, Unique Collectibles & amazing wood work that Ms. Shields made over the years that will be Auctioned off separately.
